The welding area features 7 manual TIG welding machines.

What Is TIG Welding?

The TIG welding process involves an electric arc, much like MIG welding. TIG welding differs, however, in the way it utilizes the electric arc. While this method is highly effective across industries, it is a slower process than MIG welding, but the advantages of TIG welding outweigh this one disadvantage. TIG welding, especially when carried out by our expert welders, produces high-quality, precise, and very strong welds.

Welder Certifications

We have numerous customers with specific design and assembly requirements. Many of these require welder certifications. We have our welders, via a third party, certified to your required weld specifications when desired and/or necessary.

Materials for TIG Welding

As stated previously, TIG welding can be applied across a wide range of uses, welding everything from steel and stainless steel, to aluminum, or nickel alloys. The TIG welding process itself uses a non-consumable tungsten material as a key component as well. In instances when filler metal is required, this material is added by hand with great precision by our staff. Only small amounts of necessary filler metal is added to the welding project in these instances
