On September 17, 2005 Lockrey participated in the fourth community service project, volunteering at the Special Olympics which was held at the Lucas County Recreational Center.

Over twenty five Lockrey volunteers made lunches for athletes participating in the state wide softball tournament. In addition to volunteering, Lockrey donated $12,000 to pay for new uniforms for a variety of the Special Olympic teams.
